Why?

We are trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for depression, anxiety, and related concerns only. The concerns listed above require more specialized care than we can provide.

Before starting CBT with us, it's important that any of the above concerns are stable. This helps ensure you get the most out of our program.

Your role in your care

When you get treatment at OSP West, you'll take an active part in your care, including: Diagram outlining client expectations for participating in care. Includes completing questionnaires, keeping track of thoughts and behaviours, reading about strategies, meeting a CBT coach or therapist, and practicing strategies to manage anxiety or depression.

Fill out a Referral Form

If OSP seems right for you, use the menu below to tell us your location so that we can give you the right referral form.

What to expect after filling out a Referral Form

4-6 weeks after you submit your referral, you will receive a:

  1. Screening call: We will call you to gather more information and determine if OSP may be right for you.
  2. Questionnaire package: If, after the screening call, we think OSP could meet your needs, we will send you some surveys to fill out about your symptoms. These surveys must be done before your scheduled assessment appointment.
  3. Assessment appointment: During the assessment, we will decide if OSP is the best fit for your needs. If OSP will not meet your needs, we will do our best to recommend other resources that may be helpful to you.
